Official Louisiana Ragin’™ Cajuns Student Organization and Rewards Program Introduced

New organization will serve as official student fan group for University students

LAFAYETTE – Students attending Louisiana Athletics events this season now have a group to call their own with the introduction of the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns Student Supporters Organization and Student Rewards Program for the 2019-20 athletics campaign. The Student Organization will be an official student group under the University’s Office of Student Engagement and Leadership.
 
The implementation of the new student organization and rewards program directly coincides with the new student tailgating lot in the southeast corner of Cajun Field and the new fan-friendly concessions pricing.
 
Free to all University students, benefits of joining include access to priority tailgating and parking for home games at Cajun Field, as well as free food, all while supplies last. Additionally, membership perks include: reserved seating at football, basketball, baseball and softball, opportunities to participate in exclusive events and meet-and-greets with coaches, student-athletes and administrators and priority access to game day promotions. Accumulated attendance throughout the year will unlock rewards and giveaways including televisions, gaming systems, and gift cards to local restaurants.
 
Members will also be able to earn RCAF Points through their attendance at Louisiana Athletics events based on the total number of events attended, with select events having different point rewards.
 
Students can sign up by visiting RaginCajuns.com/StuOrg. Once signed up, attendance will be tracked through mobile devices at home Louisiana Athletics events. Louisiana Football kicks off the 2019 season on Saturday, August 31, at 11 a.m. when it faces Southeastern Conference foe Mississippi State in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. The game will be televised nationally on ESPNU.
 
Tickets for the Mississippi State game are on sale now at the Louisiana Athletics Ticket Office. Fans can visit RaginCajuns.com/NOLA19 or order by phone at (337) 265-2170.
 
Fans are reminded that season ticket packages are on sale now for the 2019 season of Louisiana Football. Ragin’ Cajuns supporters can purchase season tickets for as low as $110 (general admission seating).
