Obituary: Ronald E. Boesch, Sr. – Men’s Basketball 1954-58 – October 22, 2017

RONALD E. BOESCH Sr.
1932 – 2017

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS – Ronald E. Boesch, Sr. was born on April 12, 1932 in Chicago to Elmer and Nettie (nee Burns) Boesch. He died Sunday, October 22, 2017 in Arlington Heights.

He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Ronald worked as a pharmaceutical representative for Smith Kline and French in Philadelphia. He was a member of the Arlington Heights American Legion Post #208. Ronald was an avid Cubs and Bears Fan.

He loved to spend time with his family, especially his great-grandchildren, and was loved by all.

Ronald is survived by his children, Barbara (the late Hugh) Wolf and Ronald E. (Deborah) Boesch, Jr.; grandchildren, Kimberly Wolf, Kallee (Michael) Wolf-Mulizio, Kara Wolf, Shelby Boesch, Krista Wolf, Samantha Boesch, Connor Boesch and Brendan Boesch: great-grandchildren, Rocco Mulizio and Roman Mulizio; brother, Thomas (Shirley) Boesch; sister-in-law, Geraldine (Bo) Boesch-Ramsey; nieces, Donna (Bubba) Boesch-Hines and Brenda (Tommy) Boesch-Howard.

He was preceded in death by his parents; special friend, Joan Boesch; siblings, Melvin Boesch and Joyce Boesch. Visitation Friday, October 27, 2017 from 3:00 pm until the 8:00 pm Prayer Service at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment is private.
