Melanie Riedl, CUCE, sent the AN this announcement from when Patsy retired in December, 2013.

ULFCU President and CEO Retires
It is with our deepest and sincerest gratitude that we announce the retirement of Patricia L. Matthieu.
Patricia ‘Patsy’ Matthieu has been with the UL Federal Credit Union for the past 40 years.  Patsy began her tenure at the credit union in 1973 as a receptionist and office clerk in a small office inside one of the buildings on the UL Lafayette Campus.  She has seen that small office turned in to a full service stand alone location and was instrumental in each and every aspect of the growth of the credit union.
Her hard work and dedication over the years have been a shining light to everyone who has ever worked with her or for her.
In 1979, she became a loan officer and assistant manager for the credit union, serving in that capacity until 2003, at which time, she was promoted to President and CEO.
She is a 1962 graduate of Teurlings High School and attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana for Business.
She has raised 3 children with her husband of 50 years, Irving Matthieu and they have 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Patsy was inducted into the Louisiana Credit Union Hall of Fame this past August at the Louisiana Credit Union League Annual Convention.
