Obituary: Dr. Barbara Cicardo – UL Faculty 1970-2012 – September 13, 2012

Dr. Cicardo was a ’56 graduate of the university and passed away on Sept. 13, 2012.

She was hired as an assistant professor of English and was a full professor at the time of her death.

She served as director of the freshman English program and also Academic Planning and Faculty Development.

In 1979 she was named a Distinguished Professor by the UL Foundation.
