Dalton Noe Boutin Obituary 
LAFAYETTE – A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 11:00 AM in Martin & Castille’s La Fleur de Lis Chapel in Lafayette, for Dalton Noe Boutin, age 76, who died on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at the Carpenter House in Lafayette. 
Pastor Jonathan Moore will conduct the service. 
He is survived by his children, Angie Cloteaux and husband Roy, David Boutin and wife Michelle, and Nicole Boutin; his spouse, Connie Simon Boutin; his grandchildren, Anthony, Phillip, Daniel, Dakota, and Hannah; two great grandchildren; his brother, Shirley Boutin; and his sisters, Mary, Lydia, Jackie, Linda, and Audrey. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eloi and Alzire Boutin; his brothers, Don, Bradley, Dudley and an infant brother, Nolan Boutin; and his sisters, Irene and Joyce.
A native of Lafayette, Dalton had retired after a long career in the oilfield trucking industry with Acme Truck Lines. He was an avid golfer for many years and was once the head golf pro at Lionel and Jay Hebert Municipal Golf Course on Mudd Ave (MUNI). Dalton also enjoyed bass fishing, was a devoted animal lover, loved the Atlanta Braves, and enjoyed relaxing quietly at home with faithful canine companions, Peanut and Reenie. 
He will be deeply missed.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille’s SOUTHSIDE location on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday from 9:00 AM until time of service.
Memorial contributions can be made in Dalton Boutin’s name to Lafayette Animal Aid, www.acadianaanimalaid.org, or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , www.stjude.org.
Special thanks to Eastridge Nursing Home of Abbeville, the nurses and aides of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, the Carpenter House and St. Joseph Hospice, and a deep heartfelt appreciation to Geayln C. Boutin for her special care and support during Dalton’s last days.
