The last time the Cajuns swept through the conference tournament came in1999-00. UL has won the SBC tournament five times (two tournament championships were later vacated due to NCAA sanctions).
  • After receiving a bye in the first round, Louisiana will face the winner of Saturday’s game between La.-Monroe and Western Kentucky in the quarterfinals. The Cajuns posted a combined record of 3-0 against the two squads. But in the tournament, UL is a combined 2-6 against the two teams (WKU 2-5, ULM 0-1).
  • The Cajuns are 24-14 all-time in the Sun Belt Tournament, but have failed to secure a win in the tournament since 2005-06.
