Men’s Basketball: Cajuns honored with proclamation by state legislature on Wednesday

Baton Rouge – UL Men’s basketball team was honored for a successful season on Wednesday with a proclamation by the Louisiana State Legislature as part of Acadiana Day at the Louisiana State Capitol.

Head Coach Bob Marlin accepted the proclamation from Representatives Vincent Pierre, D-Lafayette; Joel Robideaux, R-Lafayette; and Senator Jonathanb Perry, R-Kaplan.

The Ragin’ Cajuns posted a 23-12 record this past season culminated by a SBC championship and berth as the state’s lone team in the NCAA championships.
