Inside Louisiana Baseball & Inside Louisiana Softball Televison Programs to Debut on Tues & Wed SPT

The first of 12 episodes will begin on March 26 and run through June 11 

LAFAYETTE – For the first time in program history, Louisiana Baseball will have its own nationally televised program when "Inside Louisiana Baseball" makes its debut on March 26 at 6 p.m. on Cox Sports Television (CST).
 
The season-long show, which features 12 episodes across the next three months, will be available on channels 37 and 1037 on Cox Cable, as well as the Ragin’ Cajuns’ YouTube channel. Airtime for each program is scheduled for 6 p.m.
 
Assistant Director of Athletics for Video Operations Darren Walker will host the show, which will feature interviews with head coach Tony Robichaux, the baseball staff and select student-athletes throughout the season.
 
A result of Louisiana Athletics’ new Broadcast Productions Department, the 30-minute program will give fans inside access to the team and recap the latest week of action for the Ragin’ Cajuns on the diamond.

Softball Set for National Audience with “Inside Louisiana Softball”

New television show focused solely on Louisiana Softball to air Wednesday’s on Cox Sports Television

LAFAYETTE – A one-of-a-kind production on the national scene dedicated to softball, and broadcasted to more than four million homes, "Inside Louisiana Softball" is set to debut on Cox Sports Television (CST) on Wednesday, March 27.
 
The weekly television program, showcasing the latest on-the-field action and behind the scenes footage, places Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns Softball in the national spotlight on its own. It is the only softball-focused show in collegiate athletics.
 
The 30-minute program, made possible through Louisiana’s new Broadcast Productions department, is hosted by Louisiana’s Assistant Director of Athletics for Video Operations Darren Walker.
 
Each week will feature interviews with Louisiana Softball head coach Gerry Glasco and a selected student-athlete, highlights and game footage. Additionally, outstanding stories from around Louisiana Athletics will be highlighted.
 
The season premiere on March 27 airs at 11 p.m. (CDT). Show times vary each Wednesday through April 24, then begins weekly at 6:30 p.m. (CDT).

"This is an unprecedented and unique opportunity for our sport and we’re thankful for the vision of our administration in seeing it through. I encourage all our fans to tune in on Wednesday nights."
