Gridiron Alumni: Letter From Chris Gannon, President – Blackjack Landry Memorial Golf Tournament
Submitted by Marty Cannon, Gridiron Alumni June 23, 2013
Dear Gridiron Alumni: The UL Gridiron Chapter’s Bill "Black Jack" Landry Memorial Golf Scramble on April 19, 2013 at the Le Vieux Chenes Golf Club was a tremendous success. This year the Gridiron Chapter continued to partner with the UL Football team and Coach “Hud”, RCAF and the Bill “Black Jack” Landry Scholarship endeavor. Your company’s and or personal participation is recognized and very much appreciated. This partnership certainly helped us to achieve our goal of supporting UL Football, RCAF and the Bill “Black Jack” Scholarship funding efforts. Your generosity has been acknowledged by the ULL Gridiron Chapter membership as well as UL Athletics-Football, RCAF and Alumni Association-Bill “Black Jack” Landry Foundation. The importance of your company or you as an individual involvement in such an effort cannot be overstated and for this we are most grateful – without you we could not have had the success we experienced with this year’s tournament. We are pleased to announce that the Gridiron Alumni Chapter donated a total of $17,000 to the above associations mentioned for this fiscal year! Once again, our sincere thank you. We will look forward to your ongoing support when we tee it up next year in the "Black Jack" Memorial Golf Scramble. The GridIron Alumni invites everyone to visit the official Web Site of our Chapter to keep informed of upcoming events @ http://gridironalumni.ning.com Sincerely yours,
Chris Gannon UL GridIron Alumni Chapter President Football Alum 84-88
