The pipeline between Lafayette and Green Bay keeps on delivering Ragin’ Cajuns up north.

The Green Bay Packers earlier this week signed ex-Cajuns defensive lineman Justin Hamilton, an undrafted rookie free agent, to their practice squad.

Hamilton was in training camp earlier this season with Buffalo, which cut him before the current NFL season started.

He joins two ex-Cajuns who have been on Green Bay’s roster all season: undrafted rookie Alonzo Harris, who is on the Packers’ active roster, and sixth-round draft pick Christian Ringo, a defensive lineman on the practice squad.

Harris, a reserve running back, has appeared in three games so far this season and has carried the ball twice for 17 yards, including a 16-yard pickup on his first NFL carry.

Former Cajuns linebacker Justin Anderson, meanwhile, had a workout with the Packers on Tuesday, it was learned Tuesday night.

Having just signed Hamilton, however, the Packers are not expected to sign Anderson right away.

Anderson, who last played for UL in 2013, played in two games for the New York Giants last season, briefly spent time with the Minnesota Vikings and Dallas Cowboys this past offseason and was in training camp earlier this year with New Orleans before being waived by the Saints.

Ex-Cajuns receiver James Butler, another undrafted rookie free agent, also was with Green Bay for a brief time this past preseason.
