Former Football: Jim Doyle Update From Ed Doyle

Just a quick update to let you all know that Jim & Charlotte returned home from Little Rock on Saturday, just in time for Fathers Day! Jim is still in full remission and as I told everyone previously, he was released once his white blood cell count was restored to a safe amount. Jim tells me he feels much stronger and I could certainly tell that when we talked (especially compared to our last two conversations). Of course I know a lot of that strength may have purely been from knowing he was on his way home to see his children & grandchild. Jim & Charlotte will travel back to Little Rock in about a month for two days of tests to make sure all is as it should be. While he is there, they will schedule the second stem cell transplant which should be in early to mid August. They will then return home before heading back for the transplant.
