Former Football: Falcons sign former UL linebackerTim Buckley, The Advertiser, June 3, 2015
The Atlanta Falcons this week signed former Ragin’ Cajuns linebacker Boris Anyama, a senior this past season who played on all four of UL’s 9-4 New Orleans Bowl-winning teams. The Falcons had an opening on their 90-man roster and filled it by signing Anyama, who recently attended their rookie mini-camp. Three other ex-Cajuns from UL’s 2014 team currently are on NFL rosters: defensive lineman Christian Ringo, a Green Bay Packers draftee; running back Alonzo Harris, signed by the Packers an undrafted free agent; and defensive lineman Justin Hamilton, signed by the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent. Undrafted offensive lineman Daniel Quave was waived by Dallas in May and undrafted cornerback Corey Trim had looks from, but was not signed by, Carolina and Tennessee.
