Former Football: Charles Tillman retires from NFLThe Daily Advertiser, July 20, 2016
After 13 seasons, former Ragin’ Cajun Charles “Peanut” Tillman has retired from the NFL. A video announcing his retirement was posted on YouTube Monday. Tillman spent 12 of his 13 seasons with the Chicago Bears, who drafted him in the second round of the NFL draft in 2003. Tillman helped the Bears reach Super Bowl XLI, where they eventually lost to the Indianapolis Colts. Tillman spent his last season with the Carolina Panthers. Tillman has been picked for two Pro Bowl teams, and was the Walter Payton Man of the Year in 2013. Check out his retirement video below.
