Former UL Lafayette baseball pitcher Taylor Hubbell tied the knot with longtime girlfriend, actress Heather Morris, one of the stars of the Fox hit series "Glee." Morris played the character Brittany S. Pierce on the show, which ended in March. Hubbell and Morris are high school sweethearts. Morris was spotted at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field cheering on the Ragin’ Cajuns in 2011 during a game against Middle Tennessee. According to People Magazine, the couple exchanged vows at Old Canyon Ranch in Topanga, California, on Saturday in front of a large group of family and friends, including a handful of Morris’ co-stars. Former "Glee" stars in attendance included Naya Rivera (whose character married Morris” character on the finale of the show) and her hubby Ryan Dorsey, along with Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Grant Gustin and Vanessa Lengies. Former UL baseball player and teammate, Justin Robichaux and wife, Leigh Ann, flew out to the wedding along with other teammates Matt Goulas, Zach Osborne, Kyle Olson and Blake Wascom. "It was set in the hills, in a very rustic beautiful atmosphere," Robichaux said. Robichaux and his friends stayed in Venice Beach, which is about 30 minutes from where the wedding took place. "I haven’t seen Taylor in a while," the former Ragin’ Cajun said. "So it was nice to get back together with the guys. We had a blast." Former teammate and co-captain of the Cajuns, Matt Goulas, also made the trip to attend the wedding. Goulas just returned home late Monday night. He said the experience was a great one and though there were many famous faces in in the crowd, the atmosphere was congenial and welcoming for all the guests. "We made a mini vacation out of it," Goulas said. "We stayed in Beverly Hills on Friday and went to the wedding Saturday. I never really watched Glee but some of the girls (we were with) did and they were pointing out who was who. I think the producer from Dancing with the Stars was there. It was pretty cool to be in the presence among them, being from small town Louisiana. It all started with baseball."
