LAFAYETTE – Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lafayette for Harry Fishback Jr., 60, who passed away peacefully Thursday, Aug. 9, 2007, at his residence in Lafayette surrounded by his family. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The Rev. Chester Arceneaux, pastor of Our Lady of Wisdom Catholic Church, will officiate the graveside services. Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Paulette Delana Fishback; one son, Scott Charles Fishback and his wife, Jennifer Ellen Swinger, of Lafayette. He was preceded in death by twin grandchildren, Parker Scott Fishback and Sophia Ellen Fishback. A native and resident of Lafayette for all of his life, Harry Fishback graduated from Lafayette High School in 1965 and attended the USL (now ULL). After proudly serving his country in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1966 – 1969 during the Vietnam War. He was employed with Halliburton in Lafayette for 35 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
