UL Ragin’ Cajuns reserve cornerback O’Neil Parker is “doing well” after undergoing surgery to repair two broken bones in his lower right leg, a UL spokesman said Sunday.

Parker, a Carencro High product, fractured both the tibia and fibula bones in Saturday’s spring football game at Cajun Field.

It’s possible Parker could return as soon as “sometime in the fall,” the spokesman said.
