Football: Spring Drills Begin Friday – Former Players Invited – Memorial Golf Scramble April 8

Coach Hudspeth’s coaching debut kicks off this Friday at Cajun Field at 1:00 PM.  Former players and RCAF members are invited to the opening practice.  Coach wants former players there. 

The spring football drills end April 9 at Cajun Field at 5:00 PM.  The Gridiron Alumni Chapter is hosting another fun filled weekend for all of you that come in for the weekend.  Friday, April 8 we tee off at Acadian Hills Country Club for the Bill "Blackjack" Landry Memorial Golf Scramble.  Log on to http://gridironalumni.ning.com or www.klfy.com to find the link to registration and sponsor forms.  After the golf scramble, we will return to Pete’s that night for a UL football alumni reunion with dinner and old game film included.  There is even rumors of some reel to reel film showing how the old guard used to roll.

Finally, the Gridiron Alumni is cooking for the Cajuns again during the spring game.  As always, we can use some help with planning, cooking and serving.  This is a great opportunity for Gridiron members to visit with the players after the game.  Thanks to all of you that have already stepped up with cooking duties and other behind the scenes work!
