Football: New TV Show “Inside Louisiana Football” to Air Tuesdays

Louisiana Athletics and CST partner to bring head coach Billy Napier’s program to millions of viewers

LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Football’s first season under new head coach Billy Napier will be broadcast on a national scale to more than four million homes, as "Inside Louisiana Football" is set to debut on Cox Sports Television (CST), on Tuesday, Sept. 4, at 6:30 p.m. CT.

"We’re so excited about Louisiana Football and the beginning of the Billy Napier Era, and our partnership with CST allows the Louisiana fan base and the nation to gain incredible insight into our football program," Director of Athletics Bryan Maggard said. "CST offers an outstanding avenue for the continued growth of the Ragin’ Cajuns brand. I encourage all our fans to tune in on Tuesday nights and take advantage of this outstanding opportunity."

The weekly television program will showcase the latest on-the-field action for the Ragin’ Cajuns, as well as take fans behind-the-scenes like never seen before. Coach Napier, himself, will appear to take fans in-depth on all the action. Additionally, outstanding stories from around Louisiana Athletics will be highlighted.

"The Ragin Cajuns are entering into a new era of football with a new coach and we are excited to showcase the program and head coach Billy Napier," stated CST head Rod Mickler. "The Ragin’ Cajuns have one of the best fan bases in the country and we are happy to showcase the athletic department across our network."

"Inside Louisiana Football" is a production of Louisiana’s new broadcast services department, headed by Assistant AD for Broadcast Services Kevon Wilson, with support from Director of Digital Content Doug Domingue and Director of Broadcast Services Jeff Schneider. Longtime Louisiana Football staff member Darren Walker, Assistant AD for Video Operations, will assist in the show’s operation.

The 30-minute program is also made possible with assistance from Ragin’ Cajuns Sports Properties of Learfield. Louisiana joins the likes of LSU, Alabama, Ole Miss, Southern Miss, Georgia, Arkansas, Louisiana Tech, Notre Dame, Auburn, Ole Miss and others as programs with nationally televised programming on CST.

Fans are reminded that season tickets and individual game tickets are currently on sale for the 2018 Louisiana Football season, with the Ragin’ Cajuns playing five more Saturday home games.
