Football: Hudspeth to appear on ESPNU Tuesday 9/17/12

STILLWATER, Okla. – Ragin’ Cajuns coach Mark Hudspeth will soon be headed to Charlotte for a national-cable TV appearance on ESPNU.

Again.

The last time Hudspeth did that, his air time was cut quite because of breaking college football news – LSU’s dismissal of star defensive back Tyrann Mathieu.

This time, Hudspeth plans to appear on two different shows on Tuesday – College Football Daily, which airs from noon until 1 p.m. (central time), and The Experts, which airs from 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m. (central).

“Hopefully we’ll be able to get our full show(s) in,” the Cajuns coach said.

“We’re just trying to get our name out there throughout the country, and this is a great chance for recruits to tune in and see me, and learn about me, and see my face, and put a name with a face.

“And it’s a great chance,” Hudspeth added, “for fans and people to just a little hear about the Ragin’ Cajuns, because I’m dead-sold that UL is the best secret in the country.”

UL will move a practice originally planned for Tuesday to Monday, its usual off-day, to accommodate Hudspeth’s travel schedule.
