Football: Did Cajuns have the freshest college uniforms in Week 1?

The UL Ragin’ Cajuns made USA Today’s list of the seven freshest college football uniforms in week one.

The opening weekend of games saw plenty of good, bad, and ugly sartorial choices on the field. Here are the seven favorites mentioned by For The Win  in USA Today.

1. VIRGINIA

Virginia’s frosted helmets and corresponding logo were absolutely fantastic.

2. OREGON

Make your peace with the fact that Oregon will be on every one of these lists until the end of the year.

East Carolina University

3. EAST CAROLINA

Good on the Pirates for going all in on wearing purple. This is the purple-iest team in college football.

Southern Miss

4. SOUTHERN MISS

Southern Miss looked like Batman this weekend.

The chromed helmets gave the Hokies’ traditional uniforms a nice updated flair.

Classic and simple in all the right places, the Ragin’ Cajuns had a flawless look to open the season.

I didn’t like the Aztec calendar trim when San Diego State released their new look in the summer. I was very wrong.
