Video by Eric Narcisse, The AdvertiserThe UL two-day football Camp participants took part in both offensive and defensive drills, played football games “(It was) good,” eight-year-old Tre’tlon Bossier said. “(My favorite part of camp was) Cajun Ball. Because we got to play team against team.” The campers had the opportunity to not only receive instruction from Cajuns players and coaches, but they also enjoyed the chance to practice on the Cajuns’ outdoor and indoor practice fields where all of the games “(I liked it) a lot,” seven-year-old Parker Bonin said. “(I liked) the wide receiver drills. (The toughest part of the camp was) the linebacker drills.” All-in-all, the greatest part for the campers appeared to be at the end when they were led through the tunnel with the smoke by head coach Mark Hudspeth. “(It was) pretty fun,” 12-year-old Brody Gray said. “The most fun part was running through the smoke.
