Football: Cajuns Bowl Ticket Reservations Being AcceptedFootball: Cajuns Bowl Ticket Reservations Being Accepted
The Ragin’ Cajuns Athletics Department announced Monday that fans can begin reserving their football bowl game tickets immediately.
Ticket reservations are being accepted at the Ragin’ Cajuns Box Office at M.L. “Tigue” Moore Field (337-851-2011), Cajundome Box Office (337-265-2357) and online at RaginCajuns.com.
The Moore Field Box Office will be open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Hours of operation at the Cajundome Box Office are Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
A non-refundable, $30 deposit per ticket which goes directly toward the ticket purchase is required for fans to reserve a seat at the bowl game. Once an official invitation is extended to the Cajuns, fans will be contacted to finalize their purchase.
The Sun Belt Conference has bowl affiliations with the RL Carriers New Orleans Bowl held Dec. 17 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and the GoDaddy.com Bowl held Jan. 8 at Lad-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala.
Fans are strongly encouraged to obtain their tickets through the University of Louisiana Athletics Department as there are several benefits for the University and the fans themselves.
“Reserving and purchasing your tickets through the Ragin’ Cajuns Ticket office benefits our program in a number of ways,” Director of Athletics Scott Farmer said. “It allows the University to establish a history of having fans travel to bowl games and the money spent for those tickets stays with the Ragin’ Cajuns, enabling us to offset bowl game expenses.
“The tickets we distribute will have priority seating behind the team’s bench,” Farmer added. “If you’re searching for the best seats nearest fellow UL fans, contact our ticket office.”
Ticket reservations will be fulfilled using the following priority system: Ragin’ Cajuns Athletic Foundation 2011 Annual Fund members will receive their tickets first, followed by 2011 UL Football Season Ticket Holders, Collegiate Ragin’ Cajuns Association members and the general public.
Entertainment opportunities and official team events will be announced once the official bowl invitation is accepted. Visit RaginCajuns.com for updates on bowl information.
