LAFAYETTE – Each week Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns football coaching staff honors its outstanding performers from the previous week’s game by designating them as Players of the Game.
This week’s Offensive Players of the Game awards were given to Connor Morel and Deon Wallace. Morel stepped in on the second play of the second quarter for the injured Michael Desormeaux. He rallied his team to a 38-28 victory at Florida International. He led three touchdown drives, throwing his first career touchdown pass which gave UL a 28-21 halftime advantage.
