Equipment Managers: Louisiana Athletics Equipment Room to be Named After Lynn WilliamsThe longtime equipment manager served the Louisiana Department of Athletics for more than 30 years
LAFAYETTE – Lynn Williams, Louisiana Athletics’ longtime equipment manager who passed away in March, will have his name forever enshrined inside the Donald & Janice Mosing Student-Athlete Performance Center when the equipment room is named in his honor during a special dedication ceremony on Friday, Sept. 6, at 7 p.m.
Williams served as the head of the Louisiana Equipment staff for more than 30 years, assisting student-athletes and staff throughout his tenure.
As part of a busy weekend for Louisiana Athletics, more than 150 current and former equipment managers will be in attendance at Louisiana Football’s home opener versus Liberty for the Inaugural Ragin’ Cajuns Equipment Managers Reunion.
