Debbie Kidder Retirement From UL Federal Credit Union Announced – Invitation To Her Last Day

Please join the Athletic Network as we offer Debbie Kidder our appreciation, congratulations and continued best wishes on her retirement after 41 years of devoted professional service to the UL Federal Credit Union. 

Light refreshments will be served on Debbie’s last day, Tuesday April 30, from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the main branch on Bertrand Drive.

Hall of Fame Induction: Debbie Kidder 

Debbie Kidder has been with the UL Federal Credit Union for the past 41 years and in the credit union industry for 43 years. Debbie began her service as a teller and has since worked as the bookkeeper, operations manager, senior vice president and was promoted to President and CEO in January of 2014 and is the head of the Executive Management Team.
Debbie is a 2006 graduate of Southeast Regional Credit Union School of Management where she honed her skills in Strategic Planning, budgeting, project implementation and employment law.  Earning one of the top 10 in her second year class for her individual project.
Debbie is the Chair of the Asset Liability Management Committee and serves on the Building Committee and Grant Committee.  Debbie has served at the Lafayette Chapter of Credit Unions Treasurer. 
Debbie has mentored her Executive Team who have looked to her for a complete understanding of credit union financial analysis and budget.  She is kind and giving, even loaning her personal camper to an employee whose home was flooded during the August 2016 floods and hosting company picnics at her home.
Debbie is the wife of Terry Kidder, mother to Brandon and Jared and grandmother to 6 beautiful grandchildren.

A ribbon cutting was held at 2 p.m. with UL Federal Credit Union Board of Directors and staff along with representatives from UL Lafayette, UL Lafayette Alumni Association, South Louisiana Community College and One Acadiana. Afterwards, guests enjoyed sweets from Sophi P Cakes and a photo booth.
