Dance: Ragin’ Jazz Performed Well in UDA National Team Competition in Orlando

AN Note: The Ragin’ Jazz Dance team performed well, just missing the top 10 in the hip-hop category, but finishing in the top ten in jazz. More information will be posted soon.

The UL Ragin’ Jazz Dance Team will travel to Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL to compete for the national title in Division 1A at the 2008 UDA College National Dance Team Championship Competition on Saturday and Sunday, January 19th and 20th. The team represents our University well, with a current 3rd place national ranking in Division 1A Hip Hop and 10th place ranking in Division 1A Dance! This is the third consecutive year the dance team has been ranked in the top 10 of both Division IA categories.

The Ragin’ Jazz Dance Team Members are: Coach – Michelle Bernard, Captain – Chloe Angelle, CoCaptain – Gracey Domingue, Secretaries – Natalie Camel & Bridget Lowry, Zoe Acosta, Alysse Caillier, Kelly Dugas, Amber Gunter, Reghan Hall, Kyle Lavergne, Mallory Mayeux, Chelsea Meuleman, Collette Prudhomme, Emelia Reulet, Hannah Stelly, Allison Stroderd and Kourtney Surgent.
