Cross Country: Robinson, Musgrove Pace Cajuns At NCAA South Central Regional
COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Beau Robinson posted a time of 31 minutes, 15 seconds on the men’s 10K course with Courtney Musgrove recording a time of 21:33.9 on the women’s 6K course to lead the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns cross country team at the NCAA South Central Regional on Friday at the Dale Watts Course. Louisiana finished 14th overall in the men’s 24-team field with 340 points with the Ragin’ Cajuns women’s team finishing 20th overall with 463 points. Robinson finished 32nd overall to lead the Ragin’ Cajuns in the men’s race with Jonathan Kimutai finishing 38th (31:21.4), Stanley Limoh 59th (31:49.5), Dylan Heck 94th (32:22.4), Andre Bellard 131st (33:24.1) and Regan LaMaire 142nd (33:49.2). Musgrove finished 59th overall to lead Louisiana on the women’s course with Lindsay LaGarde finishing 78th (21:51.3), Claire Hodges 86th (22:01.0), Alexa Breaux 120th (22:41.7), Teresa Bruning 135th (22:55.3), Ally McCulley 139th (23:03.6) and Hailey Hesterman 147th (23:17.2). Arkansas and Texas each claimed the top two spots in both events with the Razorbacks scoring 59 points in the men’s event and 35 in the women’s. The Longhorns finished second overall in the men’s event with 53 points with the women’s team scoring 93.
