Cross Country: Pair Of Top 15 Finishes Help Cajuns Finish Strong At Chili Pepper FestivalFAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Stanley Limoh and Beau Robinson each turned in a pair of top-15 finishes for the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns men’s cross country with Courtney Musgrove and Lindsey LaGarde pacing the women’s team at the Chili Pepper Festival on Saturday at Agri Park. Louisiana, ranked No. 13 in the Men’s USTFCCCA South Central Region Poll, finished ninth overall in the 18-team event, scoring 251 points. On the women’s side, Louisiana finished 16th among 18 teams, scoring 446 points on the 5K course. Limoh covered the 8K course in 24:08.03 to finish 13th overall for Louisiana with Beau Robinson finishing 15th (24:17.2). Matt Rice finished 58th for the Ragin’ Cajuns with a time of 25:35.2 followed by Bryce Robinson (26:10.4), Cole Stafford (26:17.25), Dylan Heck (26:19.89), Jacob Chicola (26:48.16) and Marvin Hebenbrock (27:12.99) following. Musgrove completed the 5K course in 18:22.7 to lead Louisiana on the women’s side with LaGarde crossing the line in 19:01.29. Freshman Alexa Breaux finished in 19:23.25 for the Ragin’ Cajuns with Courtney Broussard (19:39.17), Kaylei Esfeller (20:16.48) and Hailey Hestermann (20:45.59) next. Louisiana will return to action on Oct. 14 when it travels to Tuscaloosa, Ala., to compete at the Crimson Classic.
