In the women’s 5K race, Courtney Musgrove posted a time of 18:31.23 to finish eighth overall and lead the Ragin’ Cajuns to a fourth-place finish in the eight-team meet. Louisiana, ranked No. 15 in the USTFCCCA South Central Region Poll, scored 32 points to claim its first team title of the season with LSU (45), Tulane (51), SLU (119) and New Orleans (126). Limoh, who captured the individual title last week at the Rice Invitational, finished just over a second ahead of Tulane’s Emmanuel Rotich in claiming his second title of the season. Their times were very impressive on a hard and very wet course. “Our women’s team continues to put in a great effort, despite being short-handed. I was proud of the way they competed today. They continue to be solid.” Dylan Heck posted a 13th-place finish (16:01.91) for the Ragin’ Cajuns with Marvin Hebenbrock finishing 19th (16:23.41), Cole Stafford 20th (16:23.82), Jacob Chicola 23rd (16:30.32), Scott Brewster 28th (17:00.76), Regan Lemaire 35th (17:14.14) and John-Paul Bergeron 42nd (17:50.59).
