Captions to Profiles Completed for Baseball – 2006, 1992, 1988, 1984, 1978, 1973, 1967, 1962, 1957

Baseball Newsletter assistance needed

The AN recently completed the posting of profiles for each person included in the following Baseball team pictures posted on the Athletic Network: 
2006, 1992, 1988, 1984, 1978, 1973, 1967, 1962, 1957.  

You may view these pictures by clicking on www.athleticnetwork.net   , photo gallery on the left, Baseball, then the year you wish to view.

Please click here  http://athleticnetwork.net/picpopup.php?piclibID=6303  for the 1957 Baseball Team.  The yearbook editors used first initials, so we are attempting to obtain complete first names. Please email the complete first names of any of the people in the picture. Some of them have been identified in the listings below, but more identifications are needed. Thank you for any information you can provide. Yes, the correction on Gene Bacque was made.

You may click on "Select a Team" in the upper left, highlight and click on Baseball, and each of the teams will be listed alphabetically beginning with 2010.  A click on a name will reveal the profile of that player.

Please communicate with those teammates who do not have an active profile – no email address. Please ask them to email the Athletic Network at athleticnetwork@louisiana.edu so we can communicate with them about their profile. Thank you.

Those players who do not have current profiles had a "bare-bones" profile posted for them…name, sport, year.

Thank you for any assistance you may provide. Our goal is to post team pictures for each year and to have profiles posted for all who are included in each picture.  Thank you for helping in the realization of this goal.

Having current email addresses of former football players in their profiles is the only way the AN can send updates, newsletters, news, obituaries, etc., to them.  Please help us prepare to share timely information by assisting with email addresses. Thank you.
