6. May 24: During its fifth straight loser’s-bracket game in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament at Troy, UL and No. 1 tourney seed South Alabama are tied 1-1 when Stefan Trosclair hits a grand slam in the 12th inning of a 5-1 victory that sends the Cajuns to their third straight NCAA Regional;

8. May 30: After Evan Powell breaks up Seth Romero’s no-hit bid in the eight inning, designated hitter Tyler Girouard is hit by a pitch with the bases loaded as UL, down 1-0 going to the bottom of the ninth, rallies to beat host Houston 2-1 at the NCAA Houston Regional;

9. June 6: Injured pinch-hitter Brenn Conrad delivers a solo homer to tie Game 1 of the LSU Baton Rouge Super Regional at 3-3, but LSU answers with Jake Fraley’s homer in the bottom of the ninth to win 4-3;
