Orders are being accepted through the University of Louisiana at Lafayette box office for the NCAA Lafayette Regional, to be held Friday through Sunday at M.L. “Tigue” Moore Field.

Orders from Ragin’ Cajuns season ticket holders were filled through noon Tuesday. Ragin’ Cajun Athletic Fund donor ticket orders will be filled through 5 p.m. today.

General public ticket orders will be filled last, although orders can be placed now through the UL box office.

Although there are 3,755 seats available in the baseball stadium, some of those seats will be designated to the competing teams.

Jeff Schneider, sports information assistant for UL baseball, said he could not comment on whether there would be enough tickets available for the general public to purchase.

“All we can do is speculate,” he said.

There will be no fee for tailgating during the Lafayette Regional, Schneider said.

Tailgating will be on a first-come, first-serve basis and will take place in the lot along Reinhardt Drive because there is construction taking place at Cajun Field where some tailgate spaces are normally located.

Tailgaters are being asked to not take up more than a 20-foot-by-20-foot space.

The Ragin’ Cajuns Athletics Facebook page posted Tuesday evening that general admission tickets for non-UL games during the Lafayette Regional will be sold at $10 apiece. Game officials will make the determination on how many general admission tickets can be sold 10 minutes before the first pitch of each non-Louisiana game.
