Baseball: Swampers Claim Omaha Cup; Fall World Series Format Changes

LAFAYETTE, La. – Due to the Swampers accumulating enough points this fall to claim the Omaha Cup before the start of the 2013 Ragin’ Cajuns baseball Fall World Series, the series has been shifted to a best-of-three format with games running from Monday to Wednesday.
 
Game one is set for 6 p.m. on Monday at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field. The second game of the series is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Tuesday, while the finale will start at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
 
Starters for tonight’s game are Greg Milhorn for the Red and Carson Baranik for the White. The rotation for the rest of the series is TBA. Admission to the games is free.
 
Game 1, Monday, Nov. 4, 6 p.m.
Game 2, Tuesday, Nov. 5, 3 p.m.
Game 3, Wednesday, Nov. 6, 6 p.m.
