Baseball: Cajuns season ends with a second loss to Arizona

The hitting streak the Cajuns had been on ended abruptly Monday, as did their season, in a 3-1 loss to the Arizona Wildcats.

That was UL’s second loss to Arizona in the double-elimination NCAA Lafayette Regional. They came up short in the 1 p.m. game, losing 6-3.

Arizona will advance to Dudy Noble field to take on Mississippi State in the Starkville Super Regional.
