LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Athletics Department announced on Tuesday that the Ragin’ Cajuns baseball game with LSU on Tuesday, Feb. 26 at M.L. “Tigue” Moore Field is a sellout.

As of 2:55 p.m., on Tuesday, Feb. 19 all individual game tickets had been sold.

The Ragin’ Cajuns and Tigers are meeting at “The Tigue” for the first time since March 2002. That night Andy Gros tossed a complete game shutout as Louisiana posted a 7-0 victory.

The sellout marks the second time in the past three seasons the Cajuns have sold out a game at “The Tigue”. In May 2011, the Cajuns hosted Rice in front of a sellout crowd of 3,899.

After the first week of the 2013 collegiate baseball season, Louisiana ranked 26^th nationally in average home attendance with an average of 2,059 for the Central Michigan series.

The Cajuns and Tigers’ Feb. 26 contest is slated to begin at 6 p.m.
