The Ragin’ Cajuns and Tigers are meeting at “The Tigue” for the first time since March 2002. That night Andy Gros tossed a complete game shutout as Louisiana posted a 7-0 victory.

The sellout marks the second time in the past three seasons the Cajuns have sold out a game at “The Tigue”. In May 2011, the Cajuns hosted Rice in front of a sellout crowd of 3,899.

After the first week of the 2013 collegiate baseball season, Louisiana ranked 26th nationally in average home attendance with an average of 2,059 for the Central Michigan series.

The Cajuns and Tigers’ Feb. 26 contest is slated to begin at 6 p.m.
