Baseball: Cajuns Baseball Lands Three On Perfect Game All-America Squads

LAFAYETTE, La. – The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns baseball team had three players selected to the 2015 Perfect Game All-America Teams, Prefect Game announced on Wednesday. 

 
Junior second baseman Stefan Trosclair was named to the Perfect Game All-America third team, while both Dylan Moore and Gunner Leger were tabbed to the Perfect Game Freshmen All-America squads.
 
Trosclair picked up his fourth All-America honor of the season with the selection. The Sulphur, La., native hit .338 with a team-best 55 runs, 16 home runs and 53 RBI. Trosclair also swiped 15 bases to go with a .441 on base percentage and a .635 slugging percentage.
 
Moore received Perfect Game Freshmen All-America first team honors after breaking the school single season record with 13 saves in a team-high 32 appearances. The right-hander posted a 3-3 record with a 1.60 ERA in 50.2 innings and had 40 strikeouts. Moore was also named a freshmen All-American by Collegiate Baseball and NCBWA.
 
Leger also earned his third Freshmen All-America honor with the selection. The lefty starter was named to the Perfect Game Freshmen All-America second team as he finished the season tied for the team lead in victories with six and had a 2.99 ERA in 114.1 innings. Leger, the Sun Belt Freshman of the Year and second team All-Sun Belt honoree, had a team-best 87 strikeouts in 18 starts and held opponents to a .240 average.
