Men such as Fontenot, Elkind, Catha, Gordon, Verrett, LeVert Vines, Clark, Arms, Boudreaux, and LeBlanc proved their ability to play throughout the season. Fontenot and Elkind gathered All-Conference honors. Fontenot was named the Honorary Team Captain for the season.
