Women’s Tennis: Louisiana Concludes Play at Warhawk Invitational

Monroe, La. – AK Harvey and Babette Burgersdijk claimed a doubles title in the main draw and the Louisiana Women’s Tennis team claimed six singles wins as the Ragin’ Cajuns finished play at the Warhawk Invitational on Saturday.
 
In the all-Ragin’ Cajuns semifinal in the doubles main draw, Harvey and Burgersdijk beat Floriane Picaut and Christina Jordan, 6-4, and topped Isabella Kierkegaard and Clara Mantaux in the final, 6-4.
 
Six of the eight Ragin’ Cajuns competing at the event claimed singles wins on Saturday. Those six were: Harvey, Jordan, Kierkegaard, Mantaux, Picaut and Lucie Raquin.
 
Although Burgersdijk and Dana Radovanovic lost, they made it to the final and fell just short of claiming first place in their respective draws.
