Football: Babb & Edmiston Sun Belt Players of the Week

For the second straight week, UL received two of the three weekly Sun Belt Conference honors. Quarterback Jerry Babb threw for 202 yards and two touchdowns on 81-percent passing. He has now completed 22 of 31 passes over the last two games.

Placekicker Drew Edmiston made field goals of 44 and 40 yards and three extra points. He’s now fourth in the Sun Belt in scoring at 4.8 points per game.
