Football: Seniors – One Final Look
Wednesday night’s game at 6pm will be the last chance to see Michael Desormeaux, Tyrell Fenroy and the rest of the 2008 senior class play at Cajun Field. The Cajuns need a loud home crowd to defeat Middle Tennessee and become bowl eligible.
The ESPN game will air live on Cox channel 4 in Lafayette and Baton Rouge, Comcast channel 74 in Nashville, WRJM in Montgomery, Ala. and on ESPN 360. It can be seen on tape delay on CST (12/4 at 7 pm CT), CSS (12/4 11 am CT) and MASN (12/4 7 am CT).
Desormeaux needs seven yards rushing to reach 1,000 for the season and become just the eighth quarterback in NCAA history with back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons.
Fenroy can pass Brian Mitchell’s single season rushing record with just 20 yards. He can become the Cajuns all-time leader in rushing touchdowns if he finds the end zone twice against the Blue Raiders.
Quarterbacks with two straight 1,000-yard rushing seasons 7. Pat White, West Virginia (2006-07)
