LGA Amateur Championship

Four Cajuns’ golfers competed in the Louisiana Golf Association Amateur Championship held on June 4-7, with all four golfers making the cut.  James Anderson, Andrew Noto, Dustin Petit and signee Ethan Savoy all competed in the event, all finishing in the top 45.

Noto paced all Cajuns in the event carding a two-over par tournament to finish in a tie for 11th. Noto rebounded from back-to-back opening rounds over par to shoot one under par in his third round and even par in his final round of competition.  Anderson finished the event in a tie for 31st, while Petit closed out the event in a tie for 36th.  Savoy, a signee from Broussard, La., finished in a tie for 42nd.
