Men’s Tennis: UL Adds International Talent For 2011

Louisiana’s men’s tennis coach Mark Jeffery has announced an addition to his 2011 spring roster with the signing of Sidharth Sivakumar. Sivakumar has signed a grant-in-aid to play with the Cajuns starting in 2011.

""I look for Sidharth to really help us immediately at both singles and doubles," said Jeffrey.

Sivakumar, a former top 200 ITF junior from Coimbatore, India will contribute to the Cajuns right away. He has won multiple ITF’s in doubles at the Grade 4 level and has a wealth of international experience.

In 2009, he captured the boys’ junior doubles title at the NTA-ITF Juniors. In 2010, he captured the doubles title at the India ITF Juniors.
