Athletics: College Ticketing Assists UL with Sales

Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns have partnered with College Ticketing LLC in an effort to help better serve Ragin’ Cajuns season ticket holders.  College Ticketing’s primary focus will be to sell 2010-11 season tickets for men’s basketball, as well as 2011 season tickets for softball and football.

A full-time staff of four has already started familiarizing themselves with the Cajuns ticketing process at the Cajundome, Cajun Field and the new Lamson Park.  They will work in conjunction with the Cajundome ticket office and will be available locally to answer questions and take orders for season tickets.

"Our season ticket holders are our lifeline," athletics director David Walker said.  "In time, every season ticket holder will have an account representative to assist them with all the services the athletic department offers.

"We needed a staff dedicated to answering questions, assisting season ticket holders and providing excellent customer service.  It will help in forming a better relationship with those ticket buyers and increasing our ticket base."

College Ticketing will take a proactive approach to reconnecting with former season ticket holders, approach existing season ticket holders about exploring ticket options with other sports and will find innovative ways to generate new season ticket holders.

The University is in the process of expanding the ticket booth at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field (121 Reinhardt Drive) to include offices for College Ticketing.  The expanded ticket office should be operational by November 1.

Individual game tickets will still be sold via the Cajundome box office and all Ticketmaster outlets.
