Soccer: Cajuns Award 2011 Top Performers 12/8/11

The Cajuns held their annual Christmas Banquet and six players were honored for their efforts during the 2010 season.
 
Freshman defender Grace Howell-Harries was named team MVP. Howell-Harries played in all 20 of the Cajun’s games and started 19 of them. She ended the year with two assists and 22 shots.
 
Senior defender Allison Baker was named Defensive player of the year. Baker also played in every one of UL’s contests and started 19 of them. She recorded a perfect shots on goal percentage shooting 3-of-3 while anchoring the Cajuns defense.
 
The Most Improved Player Award went to defender and mid-fielder Delaina McGee. The junior played in 19 games and scored two goals on the season.

Other awards included the Cajun Warrior award which is given to the toughest player on the team.  Megan Riley was honored for the second year in a row and Amanda Moorefield was also recognized.  The Cajun Pride award for energy and overall school spirit was given to Erin Gremillion.
