Football: Cox4 to host Bowl Pre-game Show 12/9/11

Cox4, the flagship for the Ragin’ Cajuns TV Network, will host a 30-minute pre-game show live from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome just before the R�L Carriers New Orleans Bowl. Ragin Cajuns: A Season to Believe will start at 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 17 and air live on Cox Channel 4 in 17 Louisiana parishes, reaching more than 500,000 customers.

At the beginning of the season, Cox4 and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette announced a partnership that included Cox4 producing and airing three Cajuns home football games live from Cajun Field.

“Hosting a pre-game show from the New Orleans Bowl is a natural extension of that partnership. Like all Cajuns fans, Cox is so proud to be part of such an amazing season. What a great way for Coach Hud to end his inaugural season here at UL! And what a committed and talented team he’s taking with him to the top. We can’t wait to be part of the celebration,” said Julie Dronet, director of operations for Cox in Acadiana.

The show, which will be hosted by Jimmy Frederick, Scott Brazda and Blair Abene, will include season highlights and live interviews.

If you’re planning to attend the New Orleans Bowl, you can watch a replay of the pre-game show, Ragin’ Cajuns: A Season to Believe, on Sunday, December 18 on Cox Channel 4 at 6 p.m. The New Orleans Bowl will replay on Channel 4 at 6:30 p.m., immediately following the pre-game show.
