Athletics: Cajuns Announce Fall 2011 Graduates 12/16/11

The Ragin’ Cajuns Athletics Department announced Friday a group of 26 current and former student-athletes, combined, that are expected to receive their bachelor’s degrees on Saturday, Dec. 17 during University of Louisiana Fall 2011 commencement ceremonies.
The list of Ragin’ Cajuns student-athletes participating in commencement exercises is highlighted by softball standout pitcher Ashley Brignac who has been named both the University of Louisiana’s Outstanding Graduate for the Fall 2011 semester and College of Education Outstanding Graduate.
The Fall 2011 Commencement Day Celebration will consist of individual academic college ceremonies beginning at either 9 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. For a complete schedule of academic college ceremonies click here.
The majority of the academic college ceremonies will be held in the Cajundome main arena, convention center exhibit hall and convention center festival ballroom. College of Nursing ceremonies will be held at Earl K. Long Gym (9 a.m.) and College of the Arts will award degrees at Angelle Hall (9 a.m.).
Current members of the Ragin’ Cajuns football team that are participating in Saturday’s New Orleans Bowl will receive their respective degrees on Friday at 3:30 p.m. in the Marriott Hotel as part of the Ragin’ Cajuns Fan Fest sponsored by HOMEBANK.
