Obituary: Kasey Troy Kramer – Football 1990-94 & Military Veteran – December 23, 2011Kasey Troy Kramer
![]() Visitation will be held from 8:00 am until service time on Friday. A native and resident of New Iberia, Kasey passed away at 1:29 am on Wednesday December 21, 2011. Kasey was a US Army/Airborne veteran where he served as a US Army Paratrooper for 3½ years. He was stationed in Fort Sill for Basic Training, then in Fort Bliss and Fort Benning before being transferred to Germany. A 1990 graduate of NISH, Kasey then attended USL and played football there for four years. He loved football and was an avid Ragin’ Cajun football fan. After graduating from USL he then attended LA Tech and received a degree in nursing and practiced as a registered nurse for many years. Kasey is survived by his daughter, Kennadi Ann Kramer and her mother Stephanie Chambers of New Iberia; parents, Kent Sr. and Billie Sue Kramer of New Iberia; brothers, Kent Kramer, Jr. and wife Debi of New Iberia; sister, Karen K. Chalmers and husband Russell of New Iberia; nieces and nephews, Kent Kramer, III, Kaleb Kramer, Amelie Kramer, Lexxi Broussard, Bobby Broussard, and Ashley Chalmers. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Pallbearers will be Kent Kramer, Jr., Kent Kramer, III, Kaleb Kramer, Russel Chalmers, Bryan Broussard, Seth Porche, and Bobby Broussard.
