Football: Green and Bentley Head to NFL Combine 2/17/12

In preparation for the 2012 NFL Draft, Ragin’ Cajuns football seniors Dwight “Bill” Bentley and Ladarius Green are slated to participate in the 2012 NFL Combine at Lucas Oil Field in Indianapolis, Ind. from Feb. 22-28.

Fans can watch the workouts live on NFL Network with tight ends working out on Feb. 25 and defensive backs going on Feb. 28.

The pair recently took part in the 2012 Senior Bowl and have been predicted to go as high as the second round in the NFL Draft by some analysts. ESPN’s Todd McShay went on record to say the Bentley was a non-BCS school player at the Senior Bowl that could be taken in the first two rounds of the draft.

Both Green and Bentley will participate in the Ragin’ Cajuns Pro Day on March 20. The Cajuns open spring practice on Tuesday, Feb. 21 with the spring game slated for the weekend of March 30-31.
