Nebraska Omaha (15-12) looked as though they may put the game out of reach with a fastbreak layup to go up 12 with 5:34 remaining, but the Cajuns had no quit in them. They used a 7-0 scoring spurt that included a Motley “and-1” to cut the score to 52-47 at the 3:50 mark.
