Cajuns quarterback Dalvin Populist of Slidell, a product of Northshore High School, has decided to transfer.

According to a news release from UL Sports Information, no decision has made to where yet, just that he will not be returning to the team this spring. Populist will have four years of eligibility remaining after redshirting in 2014.

This leaves three scholarship players on the roster to compete to replace Terrance Broadway.

“We wish Dalvin the best of the luck in the future. He has been an exceptional young man in our program,” coach Mark Hudspeth said.
